As a sales organization scales, it gets increasingly difficult to keep track of all of the marketing material, sales decks, and case studies your organization uses during a live demo. Demoflow was built to be a single location for all of your sales assets. 

However, it's still difficult to know which assets are available, related to other assets, or if one should be used on your next demo.

As of today, Demoflow has released Tagging! 

You can now create and add tags to your Demos, Assets, and URL's for easy search, filtering, and (coming soon) reporting.

Tagging Best Practices

Here is what we've seen to be the most effective use of tagging for any sales organization.

For Demos

Each demo correlates to a specific conversation for a specific reason. Organize by those categories to help locate related Assets and URLs for quick demo prep. Additionally, you can filter and search for related demos as well. 

  1. Stage in the Sales Process (Discovery, Pricing, POC) 
  2. Vertical of Customer (Real Estate, Enterprise, Healthcare)

For Assets

Assets are composed of the slides and URLs that you will be presenting, so utilize tagging to quickly find related assets for quick and effective demos.

  1. Vertical (Real Estate, Enterprise, Healthcare)
  2. Features (Sharing, Reporting, or dare I say it, Tagging)
  3. Customer Journey (Onboarding, Support, Success)
  4. Misc (Company Culture,  History, New and Noteworthy)

For URLs

URLs are the interactive components of your Demo including your website, application, and sales process. Tag URLs based on their relation to assets, person you're presenting to, and the sales process.

  1. Features (Sharing, Reporting, Tagging)
  2. Customer Journey (Onboarding, Support, Success)
  3. Customer Type (Admin, Developer, End User)

For the Team / Organization

Because we will be adding the ability to report based on tags in the future, we recommend that you be deliberate with your tagging and think ahead.

  1. As a sales / marketing team, create a list of tags that you will need
  2. Create Demos, Assets, and URLs until you have used each tag on your list
  3. Publish / Share the tagging system with the team for consistency 

How to Create and Add Tags!


  1. Click into any demo from the "Demos" tab (or create a new one)
  2. Click on "Add Tags" in top left
  3. Search for existing tags
  4. Or add new tags on the fly 


  1. Click on any asset from the "Assets" tab (or create a new one)
  2. Search for existing tags
  3. Or add new tag on the fly


  1. Click on any URL from the "URLs" tab (or create a new one)
  2. Search for existing tags
  3. Add new tags as needed
  4. Save the tags and the URL
